12 Days of Holidays: Day 12 - Clarisonic Skin Care System
I wasn’t planning on featuring this product until I had tested it out for a little bit longer, but after just two weeks I’m in love. I can see a difference in my skin, and I just couldn’t wait to tell everyone about the Clarisonic Skin Care System. (You may have heard of it since it made Oprah’s 2007 Favorite Things list too!)
Clarisonic is the first sonic oscillation (think Sonicare toothbrush – this is actually from the same inventor) face brush that deep cleans pores while exfoliating dead skin. The brush comes with a charging docking station that provides power for 30 one-minute cleanings. All it takes is one-minute, and the brush has timers to help you focus on your whole face for the proper amount of time – prompting you with beeps to move onto the next area. It’s waterproof so you can just take it in the shower with you, and you can use any facial cleanser with it (a trial size Clarisonic cleanser is provided in the kit). And if you need one more thing to love about it – it makes cleaning your face feel like your getting a facial massage (300 movements per second!). Who knew washing your face could be so exciting :)
My skin is softer and clearer . . . yours can be too. There is a 30-day money back guarantee, so you’ve got nothing to lose in giving it a try. The Clarisonic Skin Care System is available for $195 at Clarisonic.com and other beauty retailers.

12 Days of Holidays: Day 11 - Weather Now II
You wake up in the morning and as you are planning your outfit you think, “What’s the weather like outside?” Hot, cold, warm, in-between . . . long sleeves, tights, light jacket, parka? Looking out the window just won’t prepare you. Your solution: Weather Now II by Oregon Scientific.
It displays a real-time, four-day regional weather forecast using the MSN Direct service to receive regional weather information without the use of any outdoor sensors. It displays current regional weather data, including temperature, humidity, UV index, chance of precipitation and a unique "feels like" temperature reading that combines temperature and humidity into one easy reading. A radio-controlled clock/calendar also displays the day's sunrise and sunset information. It’s basically the Weather Channel on your night stand, plus your alarm clock. Perfection.
Sounds complicated? Nope, there is no set-up required. You just have to pull it out of the box and plug it in (or put in batteries, as it can run completely off those).
I don’t know what I did before. I have to check the temperature every morning and night now. You’ll become addicted too . . . in a very, very good way.
It’s available for $129.99 at Oregon Scientific.

Love – The Nancy Collection
It’s safe to say I would die if I opened one of these on Christmas morning. The elegant and luxurious Nancy collection is available in large, small and a clutch. It’s handmade from soft calf leather with innovative hand pleating, a vintage leather covered clasp and a mauve satin lining. I love it. But, of course, these must-have bags do not come cheap.

12 Days of Holidays: Day 9 - The Marc Jacobs Waterford Collection
As you are preparing for holiday dinners and New Years parties your table will not be complete without this lust worthy item – The Marc Jacobs Waterford Collection.
Internationally acclaimed designer Marc Jacobs shares his signature style and vision with the premier luxury lifestyle brand, Waterford, to create exquisitely crafted crystal stemware, giftware and fine china. The designs are TO DIE FOR. They are exemplary, elegant and fashionable.
To imprint his style, Marc Jacobs named the patterns after his closest friends. My favorite collection is Jean. Art & Cook Kitchen Utensils
My first reaction when I picked up the utensils was that they were a little heavy, but as soon as I started using them I couldn't believe how well they works. I tested out the dessert scoop ($12), a spatula ($12) and citrus reamer($20).
The Dessert Scoop was my favorite - maybe because of what I was using it for :) Scooping Ice Cream! The scoop is really sleek and beautiful. It went right through the ice cream with no problems. The air in the handle made all the difference in the world because I didn't feel like I was pushing hard. Fabulous!
The silicone spatula is flexible and strong. It frosted a cake beautifully.
The citrus reamer is fun. I love my key lime pie recipe, but stripping the limes is the worst part. This reamer worked perfectly! It has such a fun and unique shape.
Check out ArtandCook.com for all of their products. All tools are dishwasher safe and come in fun colors like purple, lime green, orange and hot pink, in addition to black and white. Brighten up your kitchen, have fun cooking and make it easier with Art and Cook!

Breville Cordless Hand Blender
Last week I made a pumpkin soup and The Breville 9.6V Cordless Hand Blender could not have been more help. It was perfect. I only needed one bowl – no messy blender to have to clean up – and it didn’t whip and excess air into the soup. Delicious.
The Breville Cordless Stick Blender provides as much power as a traditional blender without having to be connected to an outlet. The stainless steel blender attachment has two large blades that blend everything from smoothies, milkshakes, whipped cream, cocktails and more.
It's available here at Breville.com for $99.99.
And to help kick of your holidays, enjoy this perfect holiday drink from Breville - Eggnog Dominican Style.
1 cup coconut milk
1 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 cup evaporated milk
½ - ¾ cup white rum, or to taste
1 cup water
2 whole cloves
½ teaspoon vanilla
3 cinnamon sticks
4 egg yolks, well beaten
Ground cinnamon for garnish
In a 2 quart stainless steel heavy gauge pot, combine the egg yolks and all the liquids except the rum. Insert the Breville Cordless Stick Blender and process for 30 seconds until well blended. (The mixture will be very foamy and frothy, once heated and stirred this well lessen). Once the liquids are well combined, place the pot on a medium low heat for 8 -10 minutes, using a rubber spatula continue to stir and scrap the bottom of the pot. Using a quick read thermometer checking as the milk heats check with the thermometer until it reaches 140 degrees. Continue stirring continuously, you will notice that it will get slightly thicken and coat the back of a spoon.
Remove from the heat and transfer the liquid into an ice bath. Continue stirring with a rubber spatula and once the eggnog reaches room temperature and has cooled down; add the rum and vanilla extract.
Strain into an airtight container and refrigerate, preferably overnight, before serving.
When ready to serve pour into punch glasses and sprinkle with cinnamon for garnish. Dominican Eggnog may be served on the rocks if desired.

The Countdown to Christmas
To help you decorate, here is an adorable advent calendar. (Sadly, my favorite Hat and Mittens Calendar is sold out.) Who cares if advent calendars are for kids. I've always been a fan of countdown chains, and this is perfect for the back of a door. The Countdown to Christmas Advent Calendar contains 25 hidden ornaments - like a snowflake, warm mittens, an ice skate – on gift pockets under numbered flaps. We always put candy in the pockets, which would mysteriously disappear from the later days in December.
Check out all the holiday decorations at Garnet Hill.
Keep checking back for more of my holiday gift favorites. I'll have my own 12 days of Holiday countdown.

Hip, Funky, Feminine – Tulle
Every morning I – and I’m sure so many of you – stare at my closet and try to decide what I’m going to wear. I’m not sure it my problem is I have too many options or not enough :) I just discovered the perfect wardrobe solution that you must check out – Tulle.

The Perfect Walking Shoe - Alice
I walk a lot, and because of this I go through shoes so quickly. A pair of flats have holes in the soles and my heels need to be re-heeled within three months. It’s ridiculous. The plus side is I get to buy shoes all the time. The downside is I have to buy shoes all the time! I refuse to wear tennis shoes to and from work. I don’t care if it’s practical; it’s just plain ugly. I just discovered the perfect solution. Crocs.
Yes, I can’t believe I said it either. I’ve always thought the classic Croc should only be worn for boating, gardening, etc. or on kids. They just aren’t cute. But now they are! The “Alice” style is a slim, sleek mary jane style. Everyone has commented on how cute these shoes are, and everyone is always shocked when I tell them they are Crocs. The rubber sole makes these perfect walking shoes for all weather and terrain. They are so comfortable that I sometimes forget to take them off when I get to the office. No more ugly walking shoes or ruining cute shoes from walking too much!
The Alice is available in black, chocolate, grape, peacock (blue) and ruby red for $34.99. Make sure to check the Croc sizing chart - I went a whole size down.
The Alice is also available with a suede outer texture for a nicer look for $39.99.

Hable Construction Pillows
Named after their great-grandfather’s road construction business formed in the early twentieth century, sisters Susan and Katharine Hable founded Hable Construction in 1998. They make many different textile products, from stationery to pillows, tote bags and felt wool Christmas stockings.
I am in love with these two pillows. From start to finish, the pillows are handmade. First the fabrics are printed by hand in an old New England factory, then they are hand cut and sewn in New York. The color, texture and designs are just fantastic, and will liven up any room – especially during the gloomy winter.
The Scarlet Flower Wheat Linen Pillow, 16” x 16”, is $95.
The Moss Reeds and Berries Wool Felt Appliqué Pillow, 20” x 20”, is $175.
And just because this Cupcake Wool Felt Appliqué Pillow is just so dang cute, I had to throw it in.
Check out all of their products at Hableconstruction.com. You’ll fall in love.

Jessica Elliot Jewelry
The right jewelry can not only be an accessory, but can make the outfit. I am always looking for great pieces to add to my collection, and I recently discovered Jessica Elliot. Her collection is stunning - interesting chains, mixing gold and silver, bold shapes.
I love this Double Tiered mixed Leaf Necklace on a gold chain. There are vermeil and sterling leaves on a double tiered chain – you can layer it or wear it long. It’s beautiful. I received more comments on this necklace in two hours than I have received on any other piece of jewelry. There are so many ways to wear it, and it looks great with everything!
Available at boutiques across the county or online at www.jessicaelliot.com for $146.00.
ONE LUCKY READER WILL WIN!
We are giving away a Jessica Elliot necklace to one lucky Lust List reader. The Vermeli Iron Clover Lariat – it’s a beautiful pendant, based on vintage wrought iron designs, with small clovers in a lace-like pattern. The chain is adjustable in the front so you can clip it higher or lower depending on your look. It retails for $90.
To enter email thelustlist@gmail.com, with "Jessica Elliot Necklace" in the subject line, by Wednesday, November 21 at 11:59 p.m. EST. One lucky reader will be randomly selected.
Good luck!

Cozy Slippers
The weather has changed, and it's time to snuggle up on the couch and stay warm. I am slightly obsessed with this new find. I was hesitant to try these on, because, well, either you like the look or you don't, but once you put them on YOU WILL NOT TAKE THEM OFF. Trust me. These are the newest addition to the UGG Australia Women's Slipper Collection - the Zoe. They are a soft suede fully lined with plush sheepskin fleece. The sole is rubber so you can wear them for quick trips out of the house too - since, like I said, you won't want to take them off. The bow detail adds a cute feminine finish. The Zoe is available in Chestnut (shown) and Pink Mist for $100. For more details and to purchase visit www.uggaustralia.com.

Convert to Skirt
It's the greatest. Seriously. The first time I tried it on I didn't want to take it off; in fact, I don't think I did for the next three or four hours! The built-in mesh shorties not only prevent chafing, but bear two hidden pockets (and yes they're really hidden, no bulging under the skirt even when I had my keys and iPod in them!). What woman doesn't love pockets? The silky top and side slits allow for an almost graceful freedom of movement. This is a flattering skirt; I look GOOD in it (even if I do say so myself). It's pretty much a given that you're going to be checked out while running, but with this skirt, guys do a double-take. And that's something no pair of shorts out there can promise.
I'm converted (bordering on a not-so-slight obsession). You'd better hurry and get yours before I buy out the entire stock!
There are lots of different styles including the two below - GymGirl for $58 and the new ToughGirl for $85. Buy them here.

A Good Night's Sleep
There is nothing worse than being a guest and having to crash on the couch. There is just no way you’re going to get a good night sleep when your feet are dangling over the edge and your arms are getting stuck in between the cushions. Here is the perfect solution: the AeroBed Premier Comfort Zone. The AeroBed Premier Comfort Zone creates an instant guess room in less than 60 seconds. You’ll win the hostess of the year award, and you can even gift it to your friend (I’m sure they won’t mind; they’ve been in your shoes (or is that couch) before.)
Now I know what you’re thinking – everyone has had a bad experience with an air mattress deflating during the night, and you woke up in the middle of the night on the floor. When I tested out the AeroBed – that’s right I gave up my bed for you – I immediately fell in love. It was almost better than my real bed! The best part is there is a comfort control so you can adjust (while you are lying on the bed) how hard or soft you want it. Pull the AeroBed out of the bag. Plug it in. Blow it up (inflates to a thickness of 9 inches in less than 60 secnods). Lie down and with a simple touch of the button release air as needed, and then simply push the inflate button again if you need more air. I had a perfect night’s sleep! The AeroBed maintained the air pressure throughout the night, and deflating it was a breeze.
The bed comes with a removable fleece mattress cover and a durable carry bag. I was dreading having to roll the bed up and put in the bag because it always seems I can never roll it tight enough to actually fit back in the bag. But, this bag is nice and roomy, and even I didn’t have any problems!
Perfect for overnight guests, sleepover, trips and more. The AeroBed Premier Comfort Zone is available in twin, full and queen starting at $99.99. For more information and to buy visit AeroBed.com.

Best New Running Shoe
Why wait until after New Years to start your resolution? Instead of dreading the holidays, making excuses about cold weather or too many cookies – Start Now. I just started my “Jump start the New Year” Resolution.
To kick off my new exercise regimen, I tested out some new running shoes. (Nothing like new workout gear to get you to go to the gym.) I haven’t worn a New Balance shoe in years, but after a few weeks of trying different shoes New Balance won was by far my favorite - The 740 to be exact. They were comfortable, provide the support I needed and lightweight.
The 740 is a stability running shoe with fast styling; Abzorb® cushioning in the heel and forefoot for shock absorption; Acteva midsole for lightweight cushioning; medial post provides pronation control; Stability Web® for lightweight midfoot support; NLock® integrated lacing/webbing system provides optimal fit, support, and security; blown rubber and Ndurance® outsole for durability in high wear areas.

The Dyson Root 6
If you don’t know what a Dyson is, you should. Trust me, once you try one you won’t go back. Cleaning has never been so much fun – or stylish for that matter. I bought a Dyson vacuum cleaner a few years ago, and they are just the best. They clean up everything, never lose suction and there are no dirty bags.
I just discovered a new handheld Dyson – the Dyson Root 6. A friend asked me, “What is that spaceship in your living room?” I laughed because the design is uniquely Dyson, but I couldn’t wait to tell her just how cool the “spaceship” was.
One of the great things about Dyson is how easy they are to use and maintain. The Root 6 setup was as easy as pulling it out of the box and plugging in the charger. It comes with three tools: a crevice tool for cleaning in tight gaps and awkward spaces, a debris nozzle that snaps forward to reveal a brush (my favorite feature), and a universal tool that makes all Dyson accessories compatible. The instructions say that it takes about 3 hours for the battery to fully charge and that a fully charged battery will last about 6 minutes. I was really worried about this short battery life, but once I started using it I realized that 6 minutes is plenty for the little jobs you need it for!
It picked up dirt, dust, hair and pretty much everything else with ease. Dust behind the couch – no problem. Cheerios in the kitchen – no problem. Hair on the bathroom floor – no problem. And everything was sucked into the bagless chamber which with a push of a button fell right into the garbage.
This is perfect for the little jobs you don't want to have to pull the whole vacuum out for, your car, apartments . . . it's just great.
Features:
• Rechargeable handheld vacuum for carpet, smooth surfaces, keyboards
• Constant, relentless suction with twice the power of other handhelds
• Cost-free maintenance; no bags or filters to replace
• Exhausts only fresh, clean air; one-touch-cup-emptying system
• Recharges 3 times faster than other handheld vacuums; includes crevice tool and integrated brush
• Weights 4 lbs.
The Dyson Root 6 costs $149.99, and it's worth your money! Go buy it at Dyson.com.

Available in a variety of colors for only $5.99. Buy it at ListCaddy.com.

Pink for a Purpose Tools
A few years ago I bought a picture frame and came home from the store excited to hang it, when I realized - I didn't have a hammer. Somehow I'd lived all these years without owning a single tool. So I did what any woman would do - I grabbed something I thought I could use in place of a hammer. I started hammering a nail (it must have come with the frame) with a shoe. It wasn't budging. I finally broke down and realized I needed to buy a basic tool set.
Whether you're a first time hammer buyer or a DIY addict, Tomboy Tools has the perfect tools for you. They were made just for woman - and they even come in pink. From the basic hammer to power tools, tiling kits and plumbing materials, Tomboy Tools will help you get the job done.
The special “Pink for a Purpose” tools raise money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation. The Pink Tomboy Traveler ($69.95) comes with standard pliers, a utility knife, a multi-bit ratchet screwdriver, a 13 oz Hammer out Breast Cancer Magnetic Head Hammer, a 16' Fractionalized Tape Measure, a Torpedo Level, a Mini Hacksaw and Latex-Grip Gloves. The pink hammers can be purchased individually for $14.95.
Buy them at Tomboytools.com.

Camera for a Cure
I had no idea that GE made digital cameras. On top of being cute, the specs for this camera are good for a point and shoot. I haven't played with it, but it has an 8 MP resolution, 5x zoom and a 3-inch LCD screen, which is a good start. The camera is available in either a metallic pink or black, both featuring the official pink ribbon. It also comes with a black carrying case.
The GE H855 will be offered exclusively by HSN during an October 20th broadcast – and also online at http://www.hsn.com/.

Tabloid tote
I can't even begin to tell you how much I'm lusting after this bag. It's perfect. The perfect size for all of the magazines I carry around - hence the "Tabloid" name. It's a luxurious two-tone, full-grained leather, tumbled by the legendary Borge Garveri. Leather handles. Side snap closures. Custom-hardware with antiqued-brass finish. Back-wall zip pocket. Metal feet. Unlined. 8" handle drop. 14"H x 13 1/2"W x 4"D. It comes in Alpine/Navy (shown), Baltic/Chestnut, Chocolate/Merlot, Honey/Graphite and Rose/Elm.
But when did JCrew get so expensive. This bag is $235. I mean, sure it will go on sale, but don't you think that's a little much? It's still fabulous. I want it. Buy it here.

Going Green
Well, now I have a complete guidebook:
Trish Riley wrote The Complete Idiot's Guide to Green Living. It shows you the steps you can take to make a difference in the world environment and just what it takes to live green. Some of the main topic are: global warming and environmental degradation of air, water, and soil; sustainable living and how to do it; cutting down on carbon output with alternative cars and fuels; and environmentally friendly home and lawn care products.
Perfect! I'm going to Amazon right now. You can buy it here!

Roberta Chiarella Jewelry
The collection is designed and handcrafted in the United States. The designs are beautifully finished and plated with the finest metals 22kt gold and platinum. Made entirely of brilliant Swarovski Austrian Crystals... the world's finest.
I went to a sample sale a few months ago and couldn't stop myself. I love giving pieces as gifts as much as I do wearing them.
These simple antique square earring are just radiant. The antique square is a vintage look - and a new shape from Swarovski - with lots of depth and dimension to it. Great for so many occasions!

1 scoop or 2 . . . Do you even have to ask?
I can’t, can’t, can’t say no to ice cream. It’s a problem. I know. I’m working on it – well, if by working on it I mean working on finishing the pint in my freezer!
I just discovered this amazingly delish ice cream that is just what the doctor ordered – Dr. Bob’s Hand Crafted Ice Cream.
Unfortunately it isn’t available everywhere, but they do ship overnight to anywhere in the US! Ice cream delivered right to my door . . .danger!
And can these flavors sound any more delicious:
Tahitian Vanilla
Scharffen Berger Really Dark Chocolate
Black Raspberry
Black Raspberry Chip
Pistachio
Strawberries, Sour Cream & Brown Sugar
Vanilla Peanut Butter Chunk
Cappuccino Crunch

Mr. Postman
What I love about you is that what other people think in their heads you say out loud! Does this apply to you or someone you know? If so, I discovered what just might be the funniest, most perfect thing! Tired of sappy, cliché Hallmark greeting cards – look no further. Well, tell em’ like it is with sentiments from Ella Studio. The letterpress greeting cards, jotters, sticky notes and gift tags sport saying and illustrations that will get your message across! Now I must warn you, most of the cards are make you blush, bleep-worthy, but I must admit absolutely hilarious. Just imagine getting a letter in the mail from a friend – which is always a fun surprise since the mail is usually bills and junk mail – and opening it up and it says:
Or another fun sentiment like,
Ella Studio also has Unmentionables note cards and tags, featuring illustrated retro lingerie patterns, perfect for Bridal Showers or when you’re in a “You are so sexy” mood.
You have to check them out! Most cards are about $5 each, 3 for $12 or 10 for $36.
